Did you know that yoga was actually created by men and historically practiced by Indian warriors to strengthen themselves both physically and spiritually for battle?
Yoga is shown to enhance flexibility, balance and strength, while reducing stress.
This weekend, we attended a class taught by Brandon Copeland at Reebok in Washington D.C. It was great learning some new poses and “seeing the world through a new perspective” when you are doing a head stand.  Adding yoga to your week makes you more flexible and reduces the chance of injures during workout. Combing endurance sports such as running, swimming and running with yoga and gym workouts ensures that you are working your entire body, while improving your stamina, strength and flexibility.
