Throwback Thursday

Go Gators! This throwback picture is from  2013, in Gainesville, FL at the University of Florida. I can’t remember what game it was, but I do know I had fun! I was there with my hubby, Bryan and some college buddies too! I’ll keep their names secret. UF rocks at throwing great tailgating parties, but getting to go to the game is the biggest thrill of all! Too bad we didn’t have tickets to that game, but that just meant more grilling out and beer for us! I was always taught that there’s a time and place for everything………….. And it’s COLLEGE!!!!

Go Gators!!! Today the Gators play Missouri at Missouri at 7:30. The Gators were beat pretty badly last year, let’s hope we can destroy them this year! The Gator’s are ranked #11. I wonder where we’ll rank after tonight’s big “W“???

UF vs. E. Carolina

Gators v Pirates
“The AAC’s East Carolina Pirates will head to Legion Field this Saturday to tangle with the SEC’s Florida Gators in this season’s Birmingham Bowl. Kickoff is slated for noon (ET), and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.”

“Florida’s shaky 6-5 record (both SU and ATS) cost former head coach Will Muschamp his job, but the Gators came very close to knocking off Florida State in their season finale in a 24-19 loss as seven-point road underdogs. They ended the year by covering in four of their final five games, and the total went over in three of those contests.”

Every week during the football season, Swamp Music will provide insight and analysis after reviewing the previous day’s game. Florida opened its SEC schedule on Saturday in the Swamp versus Kentucky and needed 3 overtimes to dispatch a spirited, talented, and determined Wildcat team looking to end their 27 game losing streak to Florida.

Jeff Driskel played a good game.

While fans continued their calls for Driskel’s benching during and after the game, upon further review, those calls might be misplaced.

First, Treon Harris will not see anything more than mop up duty this season barring injury to Jeff. The Gators offensive hopes are pinned to Jeff Driskel this season period. Not to say that Harris won’t eventually be the guy, but as a true freshman he’s far too green to expect him…
